The Brown Dust 2 initiative, launched by Neuwiz in Korea, decided to stop the Steam version of the plan, and the official announcement earlier that it had been decided to cancel the Steam version of the listing because the platform had failed to reach consensus on policy norms.
The Steam edition of Brown Dust 2 was originally scheduled to be launched in mid-December, with the official launch of the corresponding Deceptive Treasure Campaign, which attracted a large number of players to join the list of wishes, and at one point early to reach a target of two additions.
Just two weeks before everything was ready, players found out last weekend that the Steam page of Brown Dust 2 had been sunk and the official response was in communication with the platform.
As Brown Dust 2 is not visible, it is highly likely that it contains a large number of implicit nudity animations, along with a variety of role types. And there are already a lot of players who think that this could have touched Steam’s red line of censorship of underage women.
Although there is no official explanation for this, there is a slight indication of the official announcement below:
“Although we have tried many possible solutions, this difficult decision was taken to maintain the orientation and completion of the game and to judge that adjustment is not appropriate at this stage. In order to thank all the players who supported and waited for Steam to go online, previous Steam-related community events and Steam’s wish card were rewarded, all of which are expected to be uniformly distributed on December 16th. We will also continue to assess and discuss alternative platforms that will provide a better quality playing environment for the future, and will be announced as soon as the content is confirmed. Once again, we sincerely apologize for not responding to the results expected by the players, and in the future we will also repay your support with more stable and satisfactory services. Thank you.”
For the time being, if you want to play Brown Dust 2 through the PC, you can also choose to use Google Play Games in the PC version.
